WHAT IS “ZONE FLOW™“?

Based on a system developed by Marco Nunez
Los Angeles Lakers former Head Athletic Trainer

We made it easy for you to kickstart your activation-recovery cycle by creating a step-by-step guidance system we call “Zone Flow™.” A zone is a station in the recovery process, and each member will be guided through a total of 10 zones. You’ll start at Zone 1, proper hydration, to fuel your body for the zones that lie ahead. After warming up your body through activation exercises, you will move through a series of heating and cooling modalities that will form the recovery phase. Together, the zones increase oxygen-rich blood levels to help your muscles repair themselves, reducing soreness and speeding up the recovery process. It ends with Cryo Therapy to reduce inflammation, increase circulation and metabolism, and support weight loss.

“Our goal is to hydrate, activate and recover,” says Marco Nunez, S-Club Co-Founder & Former Head Athletic Trainer for the LA Lakers. Recovery is a system, one that many have a hard time developing on their own. Cryo Therapy is a part of that. We did the work for you by creating a strategic series of body warming and cooling devices. The sequence of zones work together to maximize your results and keep your body in peak condition.

“Our goal is to hydrate, activate and stimulate,” says Marco, S-CLUB Co-Founder & Head Athletic Trainer for the LA Lakers. Recovery is a system, one that many have a hard time developing on their own. We did the work for you by creating a strategic series of body warming and cooling devices. The sequence of zones work together to maximize your results and keep you at the top of your game.

When you’re killing it in the gym or on the court, you need to recover as hard as you exercise. The S-CLUB recovery system actively releases the stress build-up in your body after a tough workout. If you regularly put tension on your muscles without proper recovery, eventually your body will break. We focus on three key factors: hydration, activation and recovery. When these factors work together you’ll feel energized and restored faster and avoid dreaded injury setbacks. Results start here.

Everyone should have a recovery routine, not just elite-level athletes. Athletes who are training extensively daily must be immensely consistent and make time for their recovery regiment every day. Those training 4-6 times a week tend to break down quicker. They want to build muscle mass or lose weight quickly but muscle strain or injury hinders results when the necessary steps to recover are not taken. Tackle your training. Master your recovery.

If you’re not actively recovering, you will be significantly more prone to injuries such as muscle strains, tears and stress fractures. When you workout, you experience soreness which is a result of lactic acid buildup. Training through the soreness can lead to injury, so ridding the body of lactic acid should be a regular practice.

If you’re working out five times a week, you should actively recover at least four times. (Ideally, as often as you workout.) When muscles undergo tension through exercise, proper nutrient and recovery are essential to the healing process.

Comfortable, athletic wear. Extra undergarments are also highly recommended.

We provide complimentary towels for our members.

60 minutes. Arriving 10 minutes prior to class is recommended

You’re in for a treat! Our Los Angeles Lakers inspired design offers an elite luxury feel that makes for an inviting and relaxing experience. After being greeted, you’ll be offered a glass of our complimentary kombucha on tap. If you’re a first timer, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit to complete any consent forms and waivers before using the facility. You will then be given instructions, socks, slippers and gloves and guided to a changing room.

For best results, within 30 minutes after you finish your workout. However, the recovery benefits of flushing lactic acid build-up from your system can still be felt up to two days after a tough workout.

In normal water, two hydrogen atoms are bound to Oxygen (H2O) making it difficult for our bodies to enjoy the benefits of Hydrogen. In hydrogen rich water, molecular hydrogen gas (H2) is dissolved into water creating free, active hydrogen atoms that are accessible to our bodies. Molecular Hydrogen, small and soluble, has the potential to quickly circulate into many locations of our body, including the hard to reach powerhouses of our cells.

Depending on your home, work and lifestyle choices, there are many potential ways that hydrogen rich water may enhance your health and wellness. It has been documented through hundreds of studies that molecular hydrogen may have the potential to improve athletic performance and recovery, energy levels, jet lag, hangovers, allergies, skin irritation, inflammation and circulation, among many other researched benefits.
